Alex Rider

There are a lot of key differences in the Alex Rider first book, Alex Rider: Stormbreaker and the movie based off of the book. The actor in the movie, Alex Pettyfer, was a good choice to play Alex Rider; he has the same blond hair, blue eyes, and fit body that a lot of people probably imagined while reading the book. All of the actors who played the roles of Mrs. Jones (Sophie Okonedo), Alan Blunt (Bill Nighy), and Yassen Gregorovich (Damian Lewis) where right on key with how the characters in the book were described.

A few things though that had bugged me in the movie was that Jack Starbright, Alex's new guardian, doesn't have a fighting seen in the book, and she is suppose to be a red head not a blond. Also that they hadn't put in the scene where Nadia Vole, Gregorovich's right hand, tricks Alex into thinking that she is a double agent and then sneaks him into the giant fish tank where a giant jelly fish was meant to sting and kill Alex. Another thing that I was completely upset about is that Sabina Pleasure isn't suppose to enter the Alex Rider series until the third book, Alex Rider: Skeleton Key, where he meets Sabina at a Wimbledon Tennis Tournament where they are both working as ball kids.

Note: The book is better then the movie.
